Infant Feeding & Lactation

Lactation packages and a specialized clinical feeding evaluation are parallel starting points — not a sequence. Choose the pathway that matches your concern, whether you’re preparing before baby arrives, settling into early feeding, or worried about how your baby is feeding right now.

Lactation and infant feeding expertise in one place

As both a pediatric feeding SLP and Certified Lactation Counselor, I can support breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle feeding while also assessing the oral-motor, coordination, and swallowing skills underneath the difficulty. I coordinate with your pediatrician, IBCLC, dentist, and other providers when it’s helpful.

Infant feeding rarely changes in just one appointment. My support packages give us time to create a plan, see how your baby responds, and adjust support as feeding evolves — so you’re not left trying to troubleshoot alone.

Concerned About Your Baby’s Feeding?

A comprehensive infant feeding evaluation for babies experiencing painful or stressful feeds, difficulty latching, bottle refusal, coughing or choking, prolonged feeds, poor intake, or concerns about weight gain.

Comprehensive Infant Feeding Evaluation

A specialized clinical evaluation of breast- and bottle-feeding function.

  • Feeding is painful, shallow, or hard to maintain
  • Baby clicks, leaks milk, loses suction, or struggles to transfer milk
  • Feeds are unusually long, tiring, or stressful
  • There is coughing, congestion, poor coordination, or another concern during feeds

Includes a detailed history, observation of breast and/or bottle feeding when appropriate, an oral-motor and clinical feeding assessment, individualized recommendations, and coordination with other providers when helpful.

The evaluation is scheduled and billed separately, and you don't need to purchase therapy before knowing whether it's recommended.

Investment$400

Are you a referring provider?

IBCLCs, pediatricians, pediatric dentists, ENTs, midwives, OTs, and PTs: I welcome referrals for infants with persistent latch difficulty, poor suction, inefficient transfer, bottle refusal, or concerns about oral-motor function, feeding coordination, or swallowing.

A professional referral generally routes to the Comprehensive Infant Feeding Evaluation, with final triage by me.
